UK to Help Ukraine Build Long-Range Missiles at Home

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said in Kyiv on August 24, 2026 that the UK will share secret details so Ukraine can build long-range SCALP missiles inside its own country. Defense firm MBDA will provide the information. The announcement came on Ukraine's Independence Day, Burnham's first trip abroad as prime minister. France separately agreed to help set up the missile assembly lines.
