Climate and catchment background lands Hart on Greater Wellington council

John Hart has won the Wairarapa seat on Greater Wellington Regional Council in a by-election after Adrienne Staples' death. Hart spent two years with the Wairarapa Catchment Collective — groups that work with landowners on water and land management — and chaired Masterton's climate advisory group. Council chair Daran Ponter cited his experience working with communities, landowners and agencies across the region.
