Catchment and climate background lands Hart on Greater Wellington Regional Council

John Hart won the Wairarapa seat on Greater Wellington Regional Council in a by-election following Adrienne Staples' death. Hart spent two years with the Wairarapa Catchment Collective and chaired the Masterton District Council Climate Advisory Group. Council chair Daran Ponter said Hart brought "extensive experience working with communities, catchment groups, landowners and local government agencies across the region."
