Supreme Court partially lifts block on Trump's mail-in voting restrictions

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 along ideological lines to lift one of two injunctions — court orders freezing a policy — blocking Trump's executive order restricting mail-in voting. The order creates a federal citizenship list of eligible voters and targets election officials who mail ballots to unlisted people. A second nationwide injunction still stands. The Court did not decide whether a president can override state election authority.
