US Drug-Boat Strikes Have Killed 223 Since September 2025

A US Southern Command strike on a suspected drug vessel killed two in the eastern Pacific on August 23, 2026. The campaign has now killed 223 across 67 strikes since September 2025. No evidence has been provided that the vessels carried drugs. The Pentagon's inspector general is still reviewing whether targeting rules were followed.
