Twelve arrested on organised crime charges after A66 crash kills seven

Cleveland Police arrested nine men and three women, aged 19 to 61, on charges from firearm possession to participation in an organised crime group. The arrests follow a 22 August wrong-way crash on the A66 that killed seven, including PCs Matthew Blades and Tom Clough. The vehicle had cloned plates and was tied to a wider Middlesbrough criminal network.
