Twelve arrested after wrong-way A66 crash kills seven, including two officers

Cleveland Police arrested twelve people, aged 19 to 61, after a 22 August crash on the A66 killed seven, including two officers, Matthew Blades and Tom Clough. The car was driving the wrong way with copied number plates, linking it to a Middlesbrough crime group. Charges include possessing weapons and taking part in organised crime.
