At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, the Tiangong Ultra ran 100 meters in 9.39 seconds — down from 21.5 seconds a year earlier. For context, human sprint records shift by hundredths of a second. A same-model robot also covered 400 meters in 39.7 seconds, beating the human world record.
