Humanoid robot cut its 100m sprint time by 12 seconds in one year

At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, the Tiangong Ultra, developed by Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, ran 100 meters in 9.39 seconds — down from 21.5 seconds at the inaugural event a year earlier. Human sprint records shift by hundredths of a second. A same-model robot also ran 400 meters in 39.7 seconds, beating the human world record.
