Two Palestinians Killed in Separate West Bank Incidents Involving Settlers and Israeli Forces

On August 21, armed settlers raided Khirbet Hamroush near Hebron, killing 17-year-old Karim Shalaldeh and wounding a 70-year-old man. Separately, Israeli forces shot dead retired Palestinian colonel Fathi Khazem, 58, during a Jenin home raid. The military said he tried to stab soldiers. His body was not returned to his family.
