Israeli Settlers and Forces Kill Two Palestinians in Separate West Bank Incidents

Armed settlers raided Khirbet Hamroush near Hebron on August 21, fatally shooting 17-year-old Karim Shalaldeh and wounding a 70-year-old man. In Jenin, Israeli forces shot dead retired Palestinian colonel Fathi Khazem, 58, during a raid on his home. The military claimed Khazem attempted to stab soldiers. His body was not released to his family.
