UK tribunal limits deportation of Albanian male trafficking victims, issues binding guidance

A UK Upper Tribunal ruled the Home Office can be blocked from deporting many young male Albanian trafficking victims, citing retrafficking risk, corruption, and no shelters for adult men in Albania. The lead case involved a 21-year-old trafficked into cannabis cultivation. Albanians made up a quarter of UK enforced returns in the year to March 2026.
