Meta Brings Meta AI to Mac With System-Wide Dictation and Screen Reading

Meta released a Mac app for Meta AI on August 20, 2026. The app offers system-wide dictation across all macOS applications and can read the current screen to answer contextual questions. Both features run on Muse Spark, Meta's multimodal model launched April 8, 2026, which accepts voice, text, and image input. The app extends Meta AI from mobile and web into the desktop operating system.
