Meta's AI Assistant Now Has a Mac App That Listens and Reads Your Screen

Meta launched a Mac app for its AI assistant, Meta AI, on August 20, 2026. The app lets you speak to type in any Mac program and can look at what is on your screen to answer questions about it. Both features use Muse Spark, a Meta AI model released April 8, 2026, that understands voice, text, and images. The app brings Meta AI from phones and web browsers to the Mac.
