National MP breaks ranks over donation tax credit cap

National MP Greg Fleming says his own government's $100,000 cap on tax credits for charitable donations is a "sledgehammer to crack a walnut" with "zero" logic. He told a Wellington charity hui that work was underway to "fix" it. Revenue Minister Simon Watts said the government's position had not changed since the Budget.
