NSW Premier misspeaks on missing hiker: body found after eight-day search

A body believed to be 18-year-old Sydney bushwalker Lily Hooper was found in Nattai National Park on 20 August, ending an eight-day search. NSW Premier Chris Minns wrongly told parliament she was alive, then corrected himself, confirming her body had been found. Formal identification is still pending.
