Missing hiker's body found after eight-day search; NSW Premier wrongly said she was alive

A body believed to be 18-year-old Sydney hiker Lily Hooper was found in a national park on 20 August after eight days of searching. NSW Premier Chris Minns first told parliament she had been found alive, then corrected himself, saying her body had been discovered. Police have not yet officially confirmed it is her.
