Industry says government moved too fast on drone spray rule changes

Aviation industry leaders say the government was too hasty removing certification for routine drone spraying. Association vice president Dr Isaac Henderson said spray drones can weigh over 100kg and travel above 70km/h. Overseas, a farm-spray drone reportedly killed a motorcyclist in China last year. The association's Simon Wallace said it had spent months working with the government on careful rule changes.
