
Elderly Woman Survives Four Days Trapped in Indonesia Quake Rubble
Paulina Pobi, 84, was pulled alive Tuesday from her collapsed home in Nitunglea village, Flores, four days after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia on August 15. A landslide had blocked access. Local official Rudolfus Riba said she was paralysed and unable to move or speak. The quake has killed at least 73 and displaced nearly 60,000.
