84-Year-Old Woman Found Alive in Rubble Four Days After Indonesia's Flores Earthquake
Paulina Pobi, 84, was pulled alive Tuesday from her collapsed home in Nitunglea village, Flores, four days after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia on August 15. A landslide had blocked access to the area. Local official Rudolfus Riba said she was paralysed and could not move or speak. The quake has killed at least 73 and displaced nearly 60,000.
