Employment for U.S. workers ages 22–25 in AI-exposed occupations fell 13% since 2022, a Stanford study cited by Cleveland.com on August 17, 2026, found. That means roles where AI tools can readily replicate tasks. It's among the first hard numbers on AI-driven labor displacement among recent college graduates. The data doesn't yet show whether older workers face similar effects or whether firms are replacing junior hires with AI.
