Employment for recent grads in AI-exposed jobs falls 13% since 2022, Stanford study finds
A Stanford study, cited by Cleveland.com on August 17, 2026, found employment for U.S. workers ages 22–25 in the most AI-exposed occupations fell 13% since 2022. It is among the first quantified measures of AI-driven labor displacement among recent college graduates. The data does not yet show whether older workers in the same roles are similarly affected or whether firms are substituting junior headcount with AI tools.
