Bishop turns down fast-track bid for 1,000-home Pegasus Golf Course redevelopment

Infrastructure Minister Chris Bishop has declined to send Wolfbrook's fast-track application for 1,000 homes at Pegasus Golf Course, Canterbury, to the expert panel that approves projects under the expedited consenting pathway. It's the first real test of his approach to a fast-track bid for housing alone, not infrastructure. Waimakariri Mayor Dan Gordon called it "a wonderful win for the community."
