Croatia arrests second Nord Stream suspect after Poland's release

Croatian police arrested Ukrainian diver Volodymyr Zhuravlev in Pula over the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline bombings. Germany wants him extradited to Karlsruhe. Poland had freed him, ruling Berlin lacked jurisdiction and that destroying the pipelines could qualify as a justified Ukrainian defensive act. Croatia, bound by the same EU arrest-warrant framework, now faces the same legal question.
