Home Depot's $47.9B Q2: Repair Demand Beats Estimates
Home Depot posted Q2 sales of $47.9 billion, up 5.7% year-over-year and above the $47.27 billion analysts expected. Comparable sales (same-store sales open at least a year) rose 1.7%. CFO Richard McPhail said customers stuck to smaller projects, confirming big-ticket remodeling stays subdued with interest rates elevated. Net earnings hit $4.8 billion, or $4.79 per diluted share.
