Pardoned Jan. 6 Participant Runs for Congress in Florida

John Strand, convicted for his role in the January 6 attack and later pardoned by President Trump, is seeking the Republican nomination in Florida's 19th Congressional District. Ten Republicans are running in the August 18, 2026 primary to replace Rep. Byron Donalds, who is campaigning for governor.
