Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioter Among GOP Candidates in Florida House Primary

John Strand, a former model and actor convicted for his role in the January 6 attack and later pardoned by President Trump, is running for the Republican nomination in Florida's 19th Congressional District. The August 18, 2026 primary drew 10 Republicans seeking to replace Rep. Byron Donalds, who is running for governor.
