Welsh Hometown Honors Bonnie Tyler as Coffin Returns

Thousands lined Mumbles, Swansea, on 15 August 2026 as Bonnie Tyler's coffin, draped in the Welsh flag, returned to her former home. Fans scattered flowers and sang "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, died unexpectedly on 8 July in Portugal, aged 75. Her funeral follows on 17 August at Swansea Minster.
