Thousands Line Welsh Streets as Bonnie Tyler's Coffin Returns Home

Thousands gathered in Mumbles, Swansea, on 15 August 2026 as Bonnie Tyler's coffin, draped in the Welsh flag, was brought to her former home. Fans threw flowers on the hearse and sang "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, died unexpectedly on 8 July in Portugal, aged 75. Her funeral is set for 17 August at Swansea Minster.
