Crowds Sing as Bonnie Tyler Comes Home to Wales

Thousands filled the streets of Mumbles, Swansea, on 15 August 2026 as Bonnie Tyler's coffin, wrapped in the Welsh flag, came home. Fans threw flowers and sang her hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, died suddenly on 8 July in Portugal at age 75. Her funeral is 17 August at Swansea Minster.
