Netflix shuts Night School and Moonloot, extending its retreat from in-house game studios

Netflix is closing Night School Studio and Moonloot Games, continuing a pullback from internal game development that began with Team Blue's shutdown in October 2024 and Spry Fox's return to its founders in December 2025. No replacement acquisitions have been announced. Netflix says it is refocusing on kids, party, narrative, and mainstream titles streamed to TVs.
