Netflix closes Night School and Moonloot, continuing a two-year retreat from internal game studios

Netflix is shutting down Night School Studio and Moonloot Games, continuing a contraction that began with Team Blue's closure in October 2024 and Spry Fox's return to its founders in December 2025. Netflix has not announced replacement acquisitions. The company says it is refocusing on kids, party, narrative, and "mainstream" games streamed to TVs.
