IBM Brings OpenAI Models Into Its Consulting Platform

IBM and OpenAI partnered on August 13, 2026 to integrate GPT-5.6, Codex, and ChatGPT Work into IBM Consulting Advantage. IBM is launching a dedicated OpenAI practice, retraining tens of thousands of consultants, and jointly marketing solutions across financial services, government, telecom, and retail. Terms were not disclosed.
