Israeli Soldiers Evict Palestinian Families from Qusra Homes While Settlers Remain

On 13 August 2026, Israeli troops displaced two Palestinian families in Qusra, claiming a three-day operation to remove settlers who had besieged their homes. The settlers stayed. Returning families found a torn Qur'an, damaged cameras, and stolen equipment. Major General Avi Bluth had pledged to evacuate the settlers on 12 August. Troops did not.
