Israeli Troops Displace Palestinian Families in Qusra After Failing to Remove Settlers

On 13 August 2026, Israeli troops forced two Palestinian families from their Qusra homes, saying a three-day operation was needed to remove settlers who had besieged the properties. The settlers remained. Returning families found a torn Qur'an, damaged cameras, and stolen equipment. Major General Avi Bluth had committed to evacuating the settlers on 12 August. Troops failed to do so.
