Israeli Soldiers Force Palestinian Families from Homes, Settlers Stay Put
On 13 August 2026, Israeli soldiers made two Palestinian families leave their homes in Qusra, a town in the West Bank. The army said it needed three days to remove Israeli settlers who had taken over the properties. The settlers never left. When the families returned, they found a torn Qur'an, broken cameras, and stolen equipment. A top commander had promised to remove the settlers the day before. He did not.
