Independent monitors found that 94 of 304 age-disputed cases under the UK-France 'one in, one out' scheme (August 2025–May 2026) were confirmed minors — a 31% wrongful classification rate. Detaining unaccompanied child asylum seekers in adult facilities is unlawful in the UK. The report also documented six-month-plus detentions and removals of people with tuberculosis.
