Black politicians' national body formally incorporates after years of groundwork

The Canadian Congress of Black Politicians has incorporated as a national organization after roughly a decade of effort, led in part by Liberal MP Michael Coteau. Chair Colleen James, a Waterloo regional councillor, heads 150 members across all levels of government. The non-partisan group says it is the only national body representing Black elected officials in Canada.
