Goldman Sachs to Buy NEOS Investments for Up to $2.25 Billion

Goldman Sachs agreed August 12, 2026 to acquire NEOS Investments for up to $2.25 billion, gaining $30 billion across 19 options-based income ETFs (funds that use options contracts to generate regular payouts). It's Goldman's largest ETF-platform purchase. Closing is expected in Q1 2027; NEOS operates independently until then.
