Goldman Sachs to Buy Fund Company NEOS for Up to $2.25 Billion
Goldman Sachs agreed August 12, 2026 to buy NEOS Investments for up to $2.25 billion. NEOS runs 19 investment funds worth $30 billion that use options — contracts to buy or sell at set prices — to generate steady income for investors. It's Goldman's biggest fund-company purchase ever. The deal should close by early 2027; NEOS runs on its own until then.
