Police Investigation After Handcuffed Teen Died From Stab Wounds

Hampshire Police face an urgent investigation after video showed officers handcuffing 18-year-old Henry Nowak while he bled to death from stab wounds in December 2025. He told police he was injured, but they detained him as a suspect because the attacker falsely claimed self-defense. Inspectors will now review how officers handled the call and their training. One officer has resigned.
