Discord Now Encrypts All Voice and Video Calls

Discord finished encrypting all voice and video calls in March 2026, after 18 months of work. The new system scrambles your conversations at your device and unscrambles them only on your friend's device, protecting one-on-one calls, group chats, and server channels. You can check that encryption is active in your call settings.
