AMD Brings Faster Graphics to Older Gaming Cards

AMD will bring FSR 4.1—a technology that makes games run faster by using artificial intelligence to upscale graphics—to its older graphics cards starting in mid-2026. The feature, which sharpens images while improving performance, launched on AMD's newest cards last year. Expanding it to older hardware lets more people benefit from the advancement and narrows AMD's gap with NVIDIA, which has offered similar features across generations for years.
