New charity wants free lung cancer checks in New Zealand

Four heart and lung charities have joined forces as the Cardiac and Respiratory Foundation, led by CEO Letitia Harding. The charity's main goal is free lung cancer screening — health checks for people most likely to get the disease, rather than everyone, to save money. Australia and the UK already do this. New Zealand does not.
