Samsung Offers Two Versions of Its Folding Phone for the First Time

Samsung's folding phone, the Galaxy Z Fold, now comes in two versions: a standard Fold 8 starting at $1,900 and a higher-end Fold 8 Ultra. Announced July 22, 2026, the split is a first — previously each model came in only one version. The standard model goes on sale August 7.
