More Students to Get Paid While Training on the Job

Australia's PM Albanese announced that from July 2027, students training in ten health fields — including psychology, ambulance work, and pharmacy — will get paid up to $338.60 per week during hands-on placements. Until now, only teaching and nursing students received this help, which started in July 2025.
