
Man charged with killing former minister Ann Widdecombe
Joshua Kerry, 28, from Rotherham, has been charged with murdering former government minister and Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe. The BBC reported prosecutors told a London court that Kerry hit her 21 times with a hammer at her Devon home on 8 July 2026. He was kept in prison to face trial at the Old Bailey, London's main criminal court.
