Security Flaw Allows Hackers to Control Yarbo Lawn Mowers Remotely
Every Yarbo robot lawn mower uses the same master password, allowing hackers who break into one unit to remotely control the entire fleet worldwide. A researcher demonstrated access from 6,000 miles away, extracting Wi-Fi passwords and home addresses. The 200-pound machines, equipped with blades, could be reprogrammed to attack networks or cause physical harm. Yarbo acknowledged the flaw and said it is working on a fix.
