MPs scrap environmental limits from Government's planning law changes

MPs reviewing the Government's planning law changes have removed a rule that required development to stay within environmental limits. The change makes it easier to build. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says the reforms will make building infrastructure easier, faster and cheaper. Labour calls the bills "even more unpalatable and unworkable."
