NASA Releases Mars Flyby Video from Psyche Spacecraft

NASA released a July 17 timelapse assembled from thousands of images taken by the Psyche spacecraft as it swung past Mars in May 2026 to pick up speed using the planet's gravity. The footage shows Mars as a crescent, surface detail, the icy south pole, and Mars's two small moons. Psyche is now traveling onward to the asteroid Psyche, arriving in 2029.
